September 13, 1993. Ytzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat shake hands on the lawn of the White House in Washington. The cheers that followed the handshake echo throughout the Middle East. A new era begun.

Or has it?

The prospect of peace brought about a new cycle of violent clashes. Against this background of violence, Izzy Abrahami, in his unique, non-formal style, interviews Palestinian and Israeli major politicians, covering a wide range of political opinions. In this documentary you'll see fierce demonstrations for and against peace, you'll meet people from all walks of life, who candidly share their frustrations and dreams: war wounded, Israeli settlers, Palestinian members of the Hamas terror group, authors, ex-soldiers, peace activists and more.

In this documentary Abrahami captures the anxieties, the fears and yet the hopes which resulted from the famous handshake between Rabin and Arafat.

ISRAEL, THE CHANGING OF THE MINDS, is the sequel of ISRAEL -- THE OTHER REALITY.
